Just like the man himself, the Bundee Burger is a force to be reckoned with and features a double serving of McGeough’s homemade steak burgers, double smoked bacon, double emmental cheese, garnished with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, all served on a soft Griffin’s bap topped with spicy homemade burger sauce, along with a large portion of chunky fries. We suggest it’s best enjoyed with a cold pint during a Connacht Rugby game as you cheer on Bundee. What began as a once-off dish in the lead up to the historic Pro 12 Final, when Connacht Rugby lifted the trophy for the first time last year, soon became a match day special and is now a full time fixture on the menu. Speaking of the Bundee Burger Ger McTague, Restaurant Manager at The Dáil Bar says ‘It’s certainly one of our menu favourites in the bar, and is a popular choice amongst the Connacht Rugby team also.
